Scholarships Policy
Who May Apply?
The scholarship is open to students of all schools of Bangladesh and includes current students of AIS. Students applying for the scholarship must be between 12 – 15 years old on or before 1st of Sept of the academic year. Other required academic qualifications are as follows:
- Any student of IA obtaining grades of 90% or equivalent in 6 key subjects is awarded 50% tuition fee concession.
- Any student of IA obtaining grades of 90% or equivalent in 8 key subjects is awarded 75% tuition fee concession.
- Any student of IA obtaining grades of 90% or equivalent in 9 key subjects is awarded 100% tuition fee concession.
- AIS also has a scholarship grant policy for the MERITORIOUS and UNDERPRIVILEGED students of Bangladesh. School selects these students from various parts of Bangladesh through placement Assessments and interviews. School provides these students with full free accommodation, food and also bears all types of educational expenses
How to Apply?
The students are encouraged to communicate in English language. The spoken abilities are enhanced through daily practice of phonics, whereas the reading skills are developed through an intense levelled Reading Program. We follow a Synthetic Phonic Program using interactive boards and tablets in the classrooms to enhance the listening and reading capability of students. The written expression is polished through a well-structured curriculum focused on appreciating creativity along with improving the hand writing.
How Long Do the Scholarships Last?
This yearly scholarship is awarded for each eligible student who completed Grade 6 to 8 based on their academic performances. Each student will get this facility maximum two times if eligible.
